Our story
As grandchildren of immigrants, we grew up captivated by our family histories. However, we also grew up painfully aware of how easily the stories slip away. By the time we think to ask, the details are often gone.
We felt compelled to solve this problem to better connect with our own grandparents. It’s not just about learning trivial facts about their lives, but to appreciate the experiences that shapes them — which shapes ultimately ourselves and future generations.
Since January 2026, we have been building Lineage with a single mission to connect generations and preserve memories through video. We’ve designed our product with care and empathy for you. Our goal is to build a product that doesn’t just buy you a video, but create a memorable, shared experience with your loved one, together.
